Patient Reported Outcome Measure (PROMs) – Hvad handler det om, hvordan tilmelder du dig ordningen og hvad får du og vi ud af det? Ved Dr. Carol Fawkes.

We may assume that we know how patients are responding after osteopathic care but we can only be sure by asking them. Asking patients for feedback is now normal practice in healthcare and this helps to promote patient engagement. To support this, the National Council for Osteopathic Research (NCOR) have developed a system to collect information from patients using an online platform or app.

The app uses standardised questions and valid and reliable outcome measures. Patients have reported the system is quick and easy to use. Dr Carol Fawkes will describe how the system can be used and some of the findings that have already been recorded from patients in Denmark and other European countries.
